Celebrating the Women of Corex for International Women’s Day 2026

From the design studio to the production floor, planning desks to finance, machine engineering to customer experience, women contribute their expertise across every part of our organisation.

To mark the occasion, the Corex design and production teams created something special: small flower-shaped lapel pins made from Promeg® polypropylene sheet, proudly manufactured in Australia.

Designed in-house and precision cut on our Kongsberg cutting table, the flowers were produced from clear 0.6mm Promeg® with a bright pink centre. Each petal carried a small printed message, creating a simple but meaningful keepsake for team members to wear on their high-vis vests, jackets or shirts throughout the day.

The flowers were a fitting symbol; lightweight, durable and cleverly engineered, just like the innovative products Corex produces every day. More importantly, they were a reminder that even in a busy manufacturing environment, small gestures can bring people together and create moments of connection. It’s a small example of how design, materials and manufacturing come together at Corex to create clever solutions, even for something as simple as celebrating our team.

Of course, no celebration is complete without something sweet. Teams gathered across the site to share jam ball donuts, photos and a few laughs while recognising the many contributions women make to our business every day.

Across design, print, planning, project management, finance, machine engineering, production, manufacturing, customer experience and account management, the women of Corex help drive innovation, teamwork and growth.
