What is Corflute® eco range?
Corflute ecorange® is our carbon neutral graphic grade offering in the Corflute® family.
Corflute® eco is made from a combination of 50% consumer and post-industrial waste together with virgin polypropylene, resulting in a premium graphic grade material. This sheet usually has an off-white / light grey look with a very subtle speckle due to its recycled content.
Imageboard® eco utilises a black recycled Corflute® core sandwiched between two layers of premium digital print grade polypropylene.
What is PROMEG® eco range?
PROMEG ecorange® is a premium graphic polypropylene sheet. This carbon neutral sustainable material has a smooth tactile feel. It’s super durable and prints beautifully — the sheet is surface treated and offers excellent ink adhesion for screen, offset and digital printing.
This range also includes our award winning Kerbeco® plastic sheet which is made from 50% recycled waste that has been collected from kerbside recycling, reducing landfill.
What Is Corflute® Made From?
Corflute® is made from a type of fluted plastic called polypropylene that is both lightweight and solid. Usually 3mm or 5mm in thickness, Corflute®’s structure is two flat sheets with a ribbed centre layer. Due to being made from plastic, Corflute® can be used for printing bright and colourful signs.
PROMEG® is a premium graphic grade sheet material also made from polypropylene. PROMEG® is available from 0.38mm to 3mm sheet in standard large format sizes.
Can Corflute® & PROMEG® Be Recycled?
Whether you have Corflute® or PROMEG® made from virgin or recycled pellets, all products are recyclable at Corex Recycling.
At Corex Recycling we engage our clients in a plastic recycling program to ensure that used Corflute® and PROMEG® products can be repurposed. At our state-of-the-art recycling facility, we accept returned Corflute® and PROMEG® sheets like signage, packaging, and offcuts and process them to form our environmentally friendly products.
