April Lead Time Update

3 mins read 9 April 2024

Lead times are currently longer than expected for products requiring fabrication processes.

Our team are working hard to remove bottlenecks and will ensure that we process your order as quickly as possible.

Fabrication department lead times.

Along with the sheet that we extrude every day and dispatch to printers and companies for industrial purposes, we also manufacture a large range of fabricated products from Corflute®, solid polypropylene and HDPE sheet that we manufacture on-site here in Dandenong South.

These products include items like Corflute® trays and tote boxes, Corpaks and IBC’s, Truckboards, tree guards, and specialty packaging solutions.

We have a larger quantity of orders than expected of products requiring fabrication services including printing, CNC cutting, forme-cutting, welding and assembly and are currently working hard to remove bottlenecks within these services at Corex.

We estimate that our usual lead-time for fabricated products has increased from 5 to 7 weeks to manufacture. The lead-time can be less or more depending on the complexity of your order and the type of fabrication service required to complete your job.

Corflute® “sheet only” products are running to schedule with normal lead-times.

Please be assured that Corex-Megara team is focused on getting the optimum outcome for customers regarding all aspects of your order so that we can deliver you with the best Australian made, sustainable solution on-time.

You can reach out to the Customer Experience team via email orders@corex.com.au and we will give you an update on your order and endeavor to meet your expectations.

Thank you from the team at Corex-Megara.
