Transeco® polypropylene sheet provides light-filtering translucency with a tint. Made from recycled material – great for eco-branding, lighting applications, and see-through packaging with a conscience.

Transeco® is a translucent sheet with a green or beige colour due to its recycled content. Made from recycled clear PROMEG® with print waste.

Transeco® is a sustainable and versatile material developed by Megara (now Corex), an Australian manufacturer specialising in eco-friendly plastic solutions. As part of the PROMEG® Ecorange line, Transeco® combines environmental responsibility with functional performance.

Key Features

  • 100% Recycled Content: Transeco® is made entirely from post-industrial waste polypropylene, primarily repurposed clear PROMEG® sheets with residual print. This recycling process results in a translucent sheet with a green or beige hue, reflecting its recycled origins.

  • Carbon Neutral Certification: The production of Transeco® is certified as 100% carbon neutral, with any unavoidable emissions offset through certified carbon credits.

  • Durability: The sheets are resistant to moisture, chemicals, and solvents, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

  • Printability: Surface-treated to ensure excellent ink adhesion for screen, offset, and digital printing.

PROMEG® Polypropylene FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions about polypropylene stock to help you better understand their uses, benefits, and purchasing options

  • Do you make recycled PROMEG®?
We make many recycled products in our ECOLOGIA® range. MARMO® is our polypropylene made from 100% post-industrial waste. It has an off-white colour with flecks in the sheet. KERBECO® is made from consumer waste recovered from kerb-side recycling.
  • Does Polypropylene (PP) or Polyethylene (PE) have the least environmental impact?
Comparing the raw material footprint and environmental impact of PP and PE can be complex and depends on various factors, including the production processes, energy consumption, transportation, and end-of-life management.
