What is Cor-Vent®?

Cor-Vent® is a passive roof ventilation system developed, and design registered by Corex in 2024. Designed to enhance airflow within roof cavities, it helps mitigate moisture buildup and condensation, thereby promoting the longevity and health of roofing structures.  Cor-Vent® can be used for residential buildings, commercial structures, and bushfires prone areas.

Key Features

  • Material: Constructed from Corflute®— durable, lightweight, – making it suitable for various roofing applications.
  • Design: Features open flutes that facilitate passive airflow over fascia and beneath sarking or flashing, reducing the risk of moisture accumulation in the attic space.
  • Compliance: Meets the National Construction Code (NCC) 2022 requirements, specifically ABCB Housing Provision Part 10.8.3 and Volume 1 F8D5, ensuring adherence to Australian building standards.
  • Versatility: Available in various profiles to accommodate roof pitches ranging from 0° to 75°, including options for low-pitch and standard-pitch roofs.
  • Installation: Lightweight and easy to install, requiring no special tools or training. It can be cut to size with standard cutting tools and secured using standard roofing screws.
